The Czech Republic bowed out of Euro 2008 on Sunday night after failing to win against Turkey and falling to a 3-2 defeat. The Czechs had took a 1-0 advantage going into half-time through Koller and Plasil scored again to give them a 2 goal cushion. All was running smoothly before the come back began. In the space of 15 minutes a goal by Turat and two from Nihat sealed the win and the runners up spot in Group A

Nedved ended his international career after the 2006 World Cup in Germany, but pressure is growing for the 2003 European Footballer of the Year to make a comeback at Euro 2008.
